Robert Nichols, CPA
Robert Nichols, CPA, has more than 27 years’ experience in accounting, reporting and school business office management. As a MRI School Business Consultant, Mr. Nichols provides business management and accounting support services to New Hampshire school districts through MRI’s School Support Group. Previously, Mr. Nichols was employed by the Concord, NH School District for 23 years where he held the positions of Business Office Manager and School District Accountant. During his tenure, he was responsible for all accounting and year-end reporting functions for the District’s $52 million budget. He also developed quarterly financial reports for the Superintendent of Schools and School Board. Mr. Nichols previously served as a Medicare Auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Hampshire and as a Junior Accountant for Livingston & Haynes, P.C., where he performed independent audits and prepared financial statements. Mr. Nichols also served in the US Army as First Lieutenant, Infantry Platoon Leader. Mr. Nichols holds an M.S. in Accounting from Bentley College and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He is currently a Member of the NH Society of Certified Public Accountants and has held the CPA designation since 1982.
