Rollinsford NH - Part Time Town Administrator

Rollinsford, NH (population 2600), is seeking an experienced, municipal administrator to serve as its next Town Administrator. Although traditionally a fulltime position, with the appointment of a fulltime finance administrator, the Town will be transitioning to a part-time Town Administrator. Rollinsford is situated in southern NH adjacent to the cities of Somersworth and Dover along the Salmon Falls River. Rollinsford is just minutes from the NH & Maine coasts and a half hour to the Lakes Region of NH. The Town Administrator, at the direction of the Select Board, advises the Board on technical and administrative matters, serves as the Board’s liaison to departments, legal counsel and community, and coordinates the delivery of Town services. The annual Town operating Budget is $2.5 M, excluding schools. The Town employs 7 FT and approximately 19 PT and seasonal staff. The successful candidate will have experience in local government administration and finances. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and finance skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or related field and 5 years progressive municipal management/leadership experience desired. Position is expected to require 16 to 20 hours/week with compensation of up to $45,000; starting pay commensurate with qualifications.
