Carroll County, NH - Human Resources Director
The Carroll County Board of Commissioners is seeking a professional experienced in all HR related functions to oversee those functions for 230 FT employees and many more PT employees. With the County Administrative headquarters located in Ossipee NH, Carroll County is part of the beautiful “Lakes Region” and White Mountain areas of NH. Under the administrative direction of the Board of Commissioners the HR Director has three direct reports; Payroll/HR, Nursing Home/HR and House of Corrections/HR.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Public Administration or other related field and 7 years of progressively responsible public sector experience in HR and related functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates an ability to successfully perform the requirements of the position. This is an FLSA exempt position with a salary range of $68,000 to $76,000; starting pay commensurate with qualifications. Carroll County is an equal opportunity employer.
