The Town of Auburn, NH (pop 6000), is seeking an experienced professional to serve as its next Town Administrator after the passing of its first and only Town administrator who served for 17 years. Auburn is located in southeast NH near the junction of routes 93 and 101. Located just 55 miles north of Boston, the community’s rural charm belies its proximity to all the resources of the neighboring City of Manchester. Within its borders lies the majority of the area’s drinking water supply, Lake Massabesic. Working under the direction of a 3-member Board of Selectmen, the Town Administrator coordinates the delivery of a full array of town services and manages the day-to-day affairs of the Town. With an FY 22 operating budget of $6 mil, the Town has approx. 24 FT employees supplemented by another 25 PT employees. College Degree, 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in municipal administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
