Brookline NH - Ambulance Chief

Posted Sep 02, 2020

The Town of Brookline, New Hampshire (population 5,400) is conducting a search for the position of Ambulance Chief. Specifically, the Town is seeking an EMS service professional with top-notch administrative skills, and a strong team orientation that will allow the successful candidate to thrive in this vibrant community.  Located in eastern Hillsborough County, Brookline has managed to retain many of the features of its rural past while benefiting from its close proximity to the shopping and employment opportunities afforded by adjacent Milford, to the north and nearby Nashua, to the east.  Brookline is about thirty minutes from Manchester, NH and one hour from Boston.

The Brookline Ambulance Service (BAS) provides ALS service to a population of 6,800 residents (including the Town of Mason), within an area of 44 square miles.  During 2019, the BAS responded to a total of 418 calls.  BAS is currently comprised of one other full-time paramedic and about 20 on call attendants who are of varying levels from EMT through Paramedic.  The town does not bill for ambulance services.
