Hinsdale, NH - Water & Sewer Superintendent
The Town of Hinsdale is seeking an experienced Water & Sewer Superintendent for this community of approximately 4,000 residents. With an operating budget of $564,796 and 2 fulltime employees, the Water and Sewer Superintendent oversees the water distribution system and the sewer lines but is not responsible for the wastewater treatment plant. This position works under the general supervision of the Town Administrator. Hinsdale is located in the Southwest corner of the State sharing borders with Massachusetts and Vermont. It is close to the neighboring cities of Keene, N.H. and Brattleboro, VT. Qualifications include: five to seven years of experience in water distribution and sewer collection system construction, repair, alteration, and maintenance, including five years supervisory experience; possession of a N.H. Water Distribution System Operator Grade II license, New Hampshire Water Treatment Grade I license, and a New England Water Pollution Control Association Collection System Operator Grade II license; willingness to be on call to meet emergency situations; OR any equivalent of education and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
